Details that matter
Commercial credentialing often takes 60 to 120 days, and longer with some payers or in busy seasons. The most common cause of delay is not the payer. It is an incomplete application, an expired document or a CAQH profile that was not re-attested.
We confirm the effective date with each payer before billing, because claims for services before that date are usually denied.
What we need from you
- State license(s), DEA and board certification
- Malpractice insurance certificate
- CV with month-and-year work history
- NPI, TIN and practice location details
- CAQH login if you already have one
Questions about provider credentialing
Can we see patients before credentialing is done?
You can, but claims to that payer may be denied or paid out of network. Some payers allow retroactive effective dates; many do not.
Do you credential nurse practitioners and therapists?
Yes. We credential physicians, NPs, PAs, psychologists, counselors, therapists and other licensed providers.
