Details that matter
A claim with no response after 30 days is a warning sign. After 90 days, recovery gets harder and filing limits get close. We work 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ day buckets on a schedule, and prioritize by dollar value and each payer’s timely filing limit, so the claims most at risk are worked first.
Questions about A/R follow-up
What is a healthy days-in-A/R number?
It depends on specialty and payer mix, but many practices aim for under 35 to 40 days. We track yours monthly.
Do you work Medicaid and Medicare A/R?
Yes, including state Medicaid managed care plans and Medicare Advantage plans.
